About visit reservation
  1. The application of prisoner’s visitation, not only process in facility of correction on the very day, but also can make a reserve visitation.
  2. To make a reserve visitation in advance, should meet the conditions that the prisoner’s spouse, family members or relatives had made the ordinary visitation more than one time or apply for long distance visitation of the facility of correction where the prisoners located at.
  3. The timing of the reserve visitation in advance, should apply at the 7 days earlier than the visiting day from 00:00 to 15:00, 2 days earlier close. If the deadline meets weekend or National holiday will close 1day earlier before the weekend and National holiday.
  4. The way to make a reserve visitation in advance and the procedure in below:
    1. Apply through the internet:
      1. To those whom want make a reserve registry through internet; please log in the web site: https://service.mjac.moj.gov.tw
      2. The applicant finish the reserve procedure, should confirm that by internet or phone, one day earlier than visiting day.
      3. After confirm of the reserve visitation in advance, applicant should take personal I.D. attend to the facility of correction, where the prisoners located at, 10 min earlier than the reserve time
      4. Once the applicant’s visiting is completed, could make a reserve visitation in advance for next time.
      5. The applicant who can’t attend to the visiting should cancel the reserve through internet at 15:00, 2days earlier. If the day meets the weekend or National holiday should cancel the reservation 1 day before.
    2. Apply in live:
      1. The prisoner’s spouse, direct, 3rd degree of collateral relatives by blood and 2nd degree of relatives by marriage could reserve the time of next visiting in live.
      2. The application time of reserve visitation in advance is limit from the visiting day for 2weeks and should complete the visiting register then reserve next visiting on the very day.
      3. After the reserve visitation in advance is completed, applicant should take personal I.D. registering in Taipei prison at 10mIns earlier.
      4. The applicant who can’t attend to Taipei prison on the visiting day, should make a phone call to cancel at 16:00, the preceding day, if the visiting day meet the weekend and National holiday has to cancel the reserve one day ago.
      5. The applicant who doesn’t complete the reserve visitation in advance during 6 months (included) over twice time will stop approving their reserve in live from the latest visiting day, counts for 3months.
  5. To make a reserve visitation in advance should use the real I.D. to log in, if find any counterfeit, falsification, alteration these conditions will cancel their qualification of apply reserve visitation in advance.
  6. The reserve visitation in advance is not suitable for the service for visiting on first weekend of every month, Chines New Year or National holidays’ visiting.
