Apply for the prisoner’s in prison, released certification

1. Apply for the prisoner’s in prison certification shall by prisoner personally, can’t by the family members of prisoner.
2. Apply for reissue the prisoner’s released certification, shall come to prison personally or by mail to prison.
1. Apply by personally: with personal I.D. and stamp.
2. Apply by mail: with both side copy of personal I.D and exposition the reason and the relate information of to serve a prison term.

Apply for marriage registration

The procedures of prisoner get married in prison

1. According to Article 982, Civil Code that modify on 23th, May, 2007, regarding to marriage registration, when the applicant had been detained in the prison, and who is unable to do register marriage at Household administration Bureau. The applicant may submit the request for a date, with domicile of Household administration Bureau, then will send a staff to the prison where the prisoner located at.
   After confirmed with the applicant, the staff will bring all the marriage related documents back to Household administration Bureau to complete the remains to processes, and Household administration Bureau may confirm with prison where the applicant located at ,then the prison need to facsimile to Household administration Bureau, to complete whole processes, and Household administration Bureau should mail back all the marriage related documents to domicile of Household administration Bureau for filing purpose, within 3days.

Apply for visit home( to hasten home upon death of prisoner’s relatives)

1. According to: According to. Article26-1-2, PRISON ACT the prisoner’s family being serious accident, has the necessity to visit home , submitting this request to Ministry of Justice for approval then processes
2. Apply for visit home shall enclose documents:
1. One copy of application form (the application in writing from the prisoner’s family members)
2. One copy of letter of guaranty (guarantor guaranty),please filled the document on the officer’s face with signature and stamp.
3. One original copy of death certificate (to who is critically ill, need to enclose the original of medical diagnosis report and critically ill report) 
4. The original of household identification book or transcript of household registration (the document can approve the relationship between prisoner and whom has serious medical condition or the dead)
5. Transportation fee (the prisoner’s family members should pay)
6. When all of the documents are completed, please deliver to general affairs section of Taipei Prison in person then star the processes.
3. Procedure: The application from who is critically ill, first, is approved by the command officer of the facility of correction then submitting the request to Ministry of Justice for approval.
