Ex National Taiwan University Hospital, present National Taiwan University Hospital Honorary Professor, China Medical University Speech Professor Li Yuan Te arrived at Taipei Prison at 10.00 am, on Year 103, 14th March to conduct his countrywide speech tour around various Agency of Corrections.  The purpose of his speech is to impart knowledge on Health Preservation to the inmates. The audiences in attendance were subordinates and colleges led by Mr. Wu Hsien Chang, Chief of MOJ Agency of Corrections and Mr. Tai Shou Nan, Chief of Taipei Prison to accompany the inmates to listen in to the speech and presentation of Certificate of Appreciation to Prof Li.


Prof Li is the authority for heart vessel diseases emergency rescue and intensive care research. In his speech, he mentioned that there is an absolute relationship between one’s health and his daily routines. It is an unchanged law for life to go through the nature cycle, growing from young to old, and from strong to weak. Therefore, he advised everyone should cherish the wealth of health one’s own.


Prof. Li made use of graphics and diagrams to assist him in his explanation to teach inmates how to make use of the limited space to do some simple hand exercise once a day to maintain a healthy condition.


Prof Li has made his speech simple and easy to understand to inform everyone how important health is to every inmate. He hoped that everyone can have a healthy life style and positive mind.  The speech lasted 1.5 hours and ended happily at 11.30am with applauses from the inmates.
